rogersnotary.co.uk website usage policy
The rogersnotary.co.uk website offers online Continuing Professional Education courses to notaries in England and Wales.
Accreditation of courses pursuant to the Notaries (Continuing Professional Education) Regulations 2010 (the “Regulations”) is as indicated on the website in respect of each accredited course.
The free courses are not accredited for the purposes of Continuing Professional Education, but may be used to accumulate non-accredited points under the Regulations.
Each accredited course consists of course notes and a quiz. The quiz should not be attempted until the course notes have been carefully read and considered. The course materials are copyrighted and may not be reproduced in the form in which they appear on the website without prior permission unless otherwise stated. A CPE certificate for an accredited course may not be issued until the quiz has been successfully completed. Successful completion of the quiz means a result of 80% or higher. This is a requirement of the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury. You are permitted to attempt the quiz up to 6 times.
A course fee once paid is non-refundable in all circumstances, including in the event that no certificate of completion is issued due to the permitted number of re-sits being exceeded.
The personal information that you provide when registering for the site will be kept in strict confidence. Records of CPE accreditation matters must be kept by my as a CPE provider and these records must be made available to the Faculty Office on request. Your user name need not be the same as the name that you provide for the purpose of issuing CPE certificates. If you post on the site your name will be visible to other users of the website.
